Multiplayer issues?

Shouldn't we mention the wide-scale spread of people on the WiFi who disconnect when losing and altspam, much to the ire of more honest players (for those who don't know, alt-spamming is the act of predominantly using your characters Alt-form as opposed to it's biped form). Weapon Icons

Would it be possible to add pictures of each weapon's icon? I think it would help prevent confusion... I, personally, only know what the Magmaul's icon is by heart.

Controls

We should include the thumbstrap as a viable control option. Many gamers feel it is more naturl to use than the stylus. Any opinions on this?

No offence, but if you're going to be picky then the Stylus could be considered an accessory. It's only really necessary for touch games, and even then alternate control methods are accessible ( using the DPad in AC:WW for example). I find it easier to use the D-Pad and ABYX anyway ^^. I think it should be noted because gamers who have played other FPSes will be used to using dual analogue which wan be recreated with the thumb strap. Ovavasour 16:22, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Parts related to the demo

I moved a part about the unlockable video in the demo because I felt it would fit better on the demo's entry rather than this one. I also copied a picture from the demo to the demo's page, and changed its caption to avoid spoilers. John Coxon 19:33, 14 Feb 2005 (UTC)

I checked the demo movie that appears after you beat all of the training levels, and mine was distinctly different. In mine, the three armored figures do not appear, and samus herself fires a shot. - RND 12-04-05

Merged

The newly added information has been slimmed down and merged from Metroid Prime: Hunters - First Hunt . There didn't need to be an article on the demo when the one for the actual full game is already stub-status. Most of the information on that page was removed due to it being mostly a walkthrough. Due to the design of the Nintendo DS and the genre of this game I thought it was relevant and interesting to leave the control setups, however, I formatted it to save space (length). Cyberskull transwiki'd the controls section over to wikibooks. I've always felt that the weapons and scoring section didn't really belong in the article. Rumble

-The rumble pak came with Metroid Prime Pinball, I don't think anyone kows if MP:H will use it, but it seems logical, and it's weak enough to not disrupt touch movements.

I think that it was previously stated that Metroid Prime: Hunters would use the Rumble Pak but that this statement was recently retracted. I'm not totally sure about that, however. (User:Erik4)

No way. I deleted it in my revision on sunday, but someone combed through the history and recovered it. If we were going to catalog printed promotional materials, we'd end up synopsizing everything Nintendo does to promote the game, from magazine articles to TV ads to junk snail mail. FPS vs. FPA

Someone replaced every mention of "First Person Adventure" with "First Person Shooter" because of something they read on IGN. IGN has clout in terms of their access to raw information, but their observations are frequently incorrect, and in this case we should defer to Nintendo's declared intent. The error code system seems kinda weak, as you get given an error code, however when put into the nintendo error code troubleshoot, it says there are no error codes beginning with 8 or 9. Skullburn

First Hunt movie

Platypus222 claimed that the alternate version of this hidden movie, the version without other hunters in it, was the first released version, rationalizing that back then, those characters hadn't been created yet, and the web page wasn't online. My copy is from the original release date, and it contains the three other characters and the URL. It's my belief that the rivals were removed from later runs because none of them were actual characters from the release version of the game. The URL is harder to figure, but perhaps it was removed because it wasn't ready for public viewing until just a few months ago.
